Top 8 Websites

So...I was racking my brain for something to write on this blog, and I decided to write about my top 8 websites.

This isn't really in order, since I don't know exactly which websites I like better than others. But they're my favorites.

Okay, here's the list:

1. Facebook-I'd figured this was #1, since I go on it everyday, multiple times in the day :) I like how I get to keep up with my friends' daily lives (especially since I may not see them regularly). It's a great social outlet, in my opinion.
2. Homeschoolblogger-(yeah, I have another blogging site. I'm just cool like that ;). I love Homeschoolblogger because it has Wordpress for your blog, and there is SO much you can do on there! Plus, there are fun groups you can join :) I just wish more people would go on :(
3. CommonSenseMedia-I don't know why I like this site so much; I think it's because they review movies/television shows/music/books/apps I'm interested in. I also like how I can review stuff and how they put an age rating on what they think is appropriate or not (I don't really worry about that part, but it's still nice to see it).
4. IMDB-I like keeping up with the latest movies and television series. I really enjoy reading the quotes and going on the message boards to see people discussing movies/shows I like :)
5. Youtube-I love how you can post free videos on there. I enjoy watching many videos (especially since some are full episodes of my favorite shows :D)
6. Google-Technically it counts, even though I'm on it right now :)
7. Yahoo Answers-Most of the people post accurate/helpful information on there, so that's why I like it
8. Wikipedia-I like how there's SO much information to be found on here. And, unlike some sites that people are allowed to edit (anyone can edit Wikipedia), I'd say 99% of the info on here is accurate. They have some good moderators :)

Wow! That was more fun than I thought :) Well, that's all for today. Until next time, I guess!!! :D

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is Awesome!!!

I needed something to blog about this week and just started thinking about how much I loved the My Little Pony series on the Hub. So I'm going to blog about that.

First off, I want to say that I initially had no intention of watching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic-until I heard all the raving reviews from older fans. So I watched several episodes on Netflix, and now I'm hooked! This show has such clever dialogue, smart humor, and characters with depth. I just love it so much. I've watched every episode there is to date and can't wait for the next one!!!

Okay, so I'm going to give a basic rundown of the show:

The series is about Twilight Sparkle, a pony who is a favored student at Princess Celestia's school (Celestia is the ruler of Equestria, the land where all the ponies live). Princess Celestia's latest assignment for Twilight is to go to Ponyville to make some friends, because Twilight thinks that her studies are more important than friends. Twilight is reluctant at first, but she soon realizes how great friendship is.
She ends up being best friends with Applejack, a friendly pony who's also willing to give a hand; Rainbow Dash, a brave and loyal pony; Pinkie Pie, a hyperactive pony who always wants to make freinds; Fluttershy, a shy but sweet pony; and Rarity, a somewhat petty but generous pony. And there's Spike (a baby dragon), Twilight's assistant and friend.
The episodes usually revolve around a problem between the main characters (also known as the "Mane Six"-get it?) or their friends. The episode often ends with Twilight or her friends having Spike writing a letter to Princess Celestia about the lesson they learned. It's predictable, but the way they do it makes it seem engaging.

Well, that's all I can think of to say. Till next time! Ciao!

Hello! :)

Well, I don't really know what to talk about, but I want to blog pretty often.
So, I'll tell you a little about myself!

My name is Fairley; I'm currently 15 years old (turning 16 in March :D), and I've been homeschooled all my life. I'm the third child in a family of ten (I know-HUGE). I really enjoying writing, reading (I own too many books :D), dancing (correction-LOVE it!), and so much more. I hope to become a writer someday (I LOVE writing stories-as you can tell if you see my blog for my stories :D).

Well, that's all I can think of today. Ciao!!!
