Memorial Day Weekend...Sort Of

Hey y'all! I decided not to post what happened each and every day of the week as I had done lately, because I realized how boring and redundant it may seem. So I'm just going to summarize what has happened this week!

Things have settled down since the move...we've unpacked everything we needed. However, I think there are like, two or three boxes left, and Momma said it was just some stuff she needed to go through (I think...) So I have nothing left to unpack! YAAAY!

On Monday, I completed my final exam for math. My score wasn't that high...but all the problems were worth different points. So I'm going to go through them with Momma sometime this week. Once that is over I am OFFICIALLY done with school for the summer! :D Of course I've got to take that *shudders* CAT Test (in North Carolina every homeschooler is required to take a standardized test to prove what they have been learning...although technically someone could have lied). But I am done with my schoolwork at least :)

Because I finished math, I haven't been doing any work this week (that and because of the move). I don't want to do nothing, though, so next week I'm thinking about taking some free online courses of some random subjects-Spanish, possibly, art, maybe a writing course...just something to get me doing some work over the summer, you know? I know the kids in school don't do this, but I want to do some work. I feel lazy doing none, plus adults still work through the summer.

But even though I haven't been doing work lately, I have been doing some fun things. Sometime this week I started making these pocket purses...they are SOOO fun to make, I've become obsessed!!! All you do is cut out a pocket of old jeans (but don't cut out the seam or it'll come apart!), and then you sew a strap of some kind (an belt, sash, etc.) It'll be easier if I just showed the photos, so here are a few of them:

This one's my favorite :)
My second favorite :)

This one's kinda blurry :P

What else have I done this week? Oh, I know one thing-I may be getting obsessed with Star Wars again. I read these STUPID good fanfictions on Fanfiction.net...seriously, they are SO good! I realized that (at least in the prequels) the series questions human morals...well, I don't want to get TOO in-depth in it-I'll save that for my nerd blog ;)-but basically I find Star Wars not just enjoyable, but also full of rich messages, if that makes any sense.

On Tuesday, I borrowed "Shiver" from the library. It's about this werewolf and human girl falling in love, but the thing is the werewolf always changes into a wolf during the cold weather, and soon he won't keep switching back-he'll be a wolf forever...It sounds Twilight-esque, but I personally find it better than Twilight (no offense to Twihards!) The main characters aren't as obsessed with each other as Bella and Edward, and the girl (Grace) isn't talking about how perfect her boyfriend (Sam) is. She doesn't seem as helpless as Bella either. Plus, the writing is just so beautiful...I'm going to review it on "My Reads", but I'm pretty sure I'll give it four stars out of five ;)

Another thing I've been doing this week (which will be extended to other weeks) has been searching for new dance studios. I don't know why, but at first I thought, "This'll be easy!" I couldn't have been more wrong :P. It's really hard to find a studio I like-one that's relaxed enough but also has all of the dancing styles I want to do. Momma says I may have to go to more than one dance studio, which wouldn't be TOO bad unless the recitals are on the same day...I don't know-I'll just have to keep searching!

I also want to join a homeschool group. For those of you who don't know, homeschooling groups are support groups, and usually the groups has fun activities (like prom!) and get-togethers. I mainly want to go so I can socialize and go to prom-I hate to admit it, but I REALLY want to go to prom to get dressed up! :) I'm already apart of a homeschooling group, but they just send newsletters and stuff going on in the community-it's still nice, but not necessary what I'm looking for.

Okay, well I think that's it. I WANNA write more, but I think I'm pretty much summarized what's been going on. Until next week, my amigos.

Bye! (Oh, and I almost forgot-thank you SO much for giving me 1000+ page views! I am SO happy people are enjoying my little blog! :D)

Late May

Okay, so I'll talk about this week now!

Saturday-I woke up at 7, but I went back to sleep and didn't wake up again until 7:40! Hehe, so afterwards I went to eat breakfast, then I started unpacking some boxes. Afterwards, we went to the old house to pack some more stuff and load it on the truck. After unloading, it was around 1 and we started getting dressed for dress rehearsal in dance. Around 2:20 we left for the place were we'd do the recital. I was only in 2 dances, so I had to wait awhile for my dances. Okay, so I don't wanna sound bitter but...as some of you know from my older posts, I am not returning to my old dance studio for reasons...drama...anyway, more drama happened. Ugh...I don't want to be naming names or getting into detail, but...overall it was good, but I hated the drama. But I had fun talking to some of my classmates (and former classmates). I don't know why, but I felt more confident talking to them. And I'm glad I did :)

Sunday-I got up (can't remember the time-it was probably around 8) and I actually didn't do much packing. It was nice to just hang out... :D. Around 1 I got ready for the recital, and we left around 2:15-ish. We got to the auditorium around 2:45 (a little earlier than that), and the show started not too long afterwards. I was only in two dances (and none of them was the first one), so I had to wait :P.
The recital ended around 6-ish, and all the dances came out for a grand finale. I have to admit, it was good...I'm leaving the studio because of the drama, but I did enjoy my recital. I can't say it was as good as past ones, but I enjoyed dancing.
At the end (as it is dance tradition) I got a bouquet of flowers from my parents :). My dance teacher also  made these bags for every dancer-in mine were two temporary tattoos, a pencil and pencil sharpener, a pretty bead necklace, a hair clip...lots of small goods :). Oh, and I saw my Grandma when I came outside-I didn't know she had watched my show :).
Around 6:30, we ate at this buffet called Carolina Barbecue. Oooh, they have fish and shrimp there...:D I LOVE shrimp SO much...Hehe, so afterwards we headed to the old house to bring some stuff over to our new house (we're STILL not done packing...but we've gotten a lot out! :D).
Once we were done, we headed towards the new house (my Grandma left, unfortunately :P) and we started bringing the stuff from the old house inside. Then I washed dishes and did some other cleaning and started reminiscing about the day. It was a good day :)

Monday-got up around 7:45 but stayed in bed for about 15 minutes XD. Haha, so anyway, I got up and ate breakfast and stuff. Then (around 10) we left to move some stuff from old house...BUT by 5 or 6 we had loaded EVERYTHING IN THE TRUCK! There was NO MORE STUFF IN THE HOUSE THAT WE OWNED!!! I was sooooo happy.seriously, I've been sweating the past few days. So that was very nice :D. And I ate Bojangos for dinner :D!

Tuesday-I got up at 8, ate breakfast and stuff, and later on started unpacking some boxes. But guess what...my parents said that this guy they know (I'm not sure if he's a realtor, but he owns a lot of buildings or whatever) found a house in the area we live in now that is larger than this house, and it costs the same amount. THE. SAME. AMOUNT. The deal was good, and Momma and Daddy were considering moving there (of course we have the lease, but still...) Me and Manny started tossing boxes around angrily! We JUST moved! I do not feel like moving again. Ugh...but you know what? Maybe I'll like the new house.
So anyway, we spent the day unpacking and stuff. Not too much was done. Mostly we unloaded the truck and started putting things where they belonged. Oh, and my Grandma came over and brought some tasty chicken for dinner. Mmm...

Wednesday-I got up around 7:30ish, but I didn't get out of bed until 8. I had this sore throat and my neck was sore from where I was sleeping (ugh...) and I felt kind of weak because I was REALLY hungry...so eventually I went downstairs to get breakfast, and I took some medicine for my throat. Don't worry, I felt better :). So I think I spent some of the day taking boxes upstairs/unpacking boxes, watching some television...just normal stuff ;)

Thursday-Thursday was pretty normal...I did a little unpacking but it wasn't nearly as much as it had been before. I still have a sore throat -_- but it was a lot better than Wednesday. And I took some medicine, so...it was a pretty normal day, which makes it less interesting as a post but GREAT for me. You do NOT know how HAPPY I am to finally have gotten this moving thing over! It was so tiring...next time, I hope we hire people to move the stuff, even if it's just heavy furniture. On the bright side, I probably gained some muscle from all the lifting! :D

Friday-Well, not much has happened today. We're just about done with this whole moving thing! :D YAY! *throws confetti in air* I think we may have a few more boxes to unpack, but most of it is done :). So I spent the day doing some chores and stuff, and then I got on the computer to do some fun stuff :). Oh, and since this post is gonna be short, I should tell you that I really like the new house :). It's not too different from the old one-it's a bit smaller, but not TOO much smaller. I'm not sure I should post pictures up or not, but it's just a nice house :). And I have a laundry shoot. I. Have. A. Laundry. Shoot. It is one of the most awesome things ever! Seriously, I love throwing my clothes down there! XD

Well, that's all for today folks. Until next time!

Moving On

What's up, everyone? I'm going to blog about my week again-and I think the title really fits-it's going to be about me moving into the new house, not to mention moving to other things (if that makes any sense). Hehe, so here it goes:

Saturday-I pretty much just hung out on Saturday. I watched a little television, then I started using the computer and I think I looked up some fanfictions then. Around 10 I started watching Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated. I didn't think I'd like it as much-it is focused more on romantic relationships-but it's surprisingly intriguing, and it's not just about the relationships. Anyway, around 11 I ate dinner, and then I can't remember what I was doing afterwards :P Probably just hanging out.
After cleaning up the kitchen around 1, I went upstairs and turned on ABC Family because (Friday) I saw that they were having a Harry Potter marathon :D. Now you see, I had not seen ANY of the HP films-I only read the books, save for "Deathly Hallows", which I eventually plan to finish-so I was thoroughly excited to see how my beloved books did on screen. It's very good, actually. Very accurate portrayal of the books. Although I do enjoy the books better (people always say that XD), the films were very accurate, which I appreciated.
During commerical breaks I *attempted* to read "Gathering Blue: (I wanted to finish it by Sunday), but I just can't. It doesn't hold my interest like, "The Giver". I think I'll return it at the library o Tuesday...I hate leaving a book unread, but oh well :P
My eyes were starting to hurt since I was looking at too many screens :P, so I decided to start sewing. I used to be really interested in sewing like, three years ago, but then I kind of dropped it. I think I was getting frustrated with the hard work (it is NOT easy to thread a needle. Trust me and any seamstress on this). Anyway, I hand sewed (since I just cannot work my sewing machine :P)-I think I'm going to make the little project a purse ;)-and I can't remember when I stopped or not; I know I didn't finish the project, though.
Later on my eyes started feeling better so I went and watched some clips of "The Prisoner of Azkaban" on YouTube. That was my favorite Harry Potter book. Seriously, it's so awesome. I really like the dementors, and I'm sure any Potterhead (Harry Potter fangirls and fanboys) would stare at me crazily (for those who don't know, dementors suck the happiness out of you). I'm not crazy-I love creepily evil villains! They're just so evil! :D Oh, and while I was waiting for YouTube to load up (my internet was so slow that day, for some reason), I finished a chapter in the "Deathly Hallows". I will try to finish it. I know it's 750+ pages, but if I read "Order of The Phoenix" (which was almost 800 pages), then I can certainly read this.
Afterwards, I started reading this REALLY good X-Men fan fiction...unfortunately, it wasn't finished yet :P. Haha, anyway I went downstairs to eat dinner around 6-ish; I got to eat chicken nuggets and fries! :D I feel like a kid again XD Hehe, but seriously, I haven't had chicken nuggets in MONTHS...oh, and the fries...they were so freaking good :D.
And for dessert I had a drumstick ice cream (I think that's what it's called). Let me tell you-it. Is. So. Good. First you have the outside of the ice cream, which consists of nuts and a chocolate out layer. Then, once you finish that, you get the delicious, creamy ice cream :). Once that's over, you have the cone-and of course, you can EAT it! (That's why I LOVE ice cream in a cone-you get to eat the cone when you're done! :D) So once you eat the cone, you start to realize that there's ice cream all throughout the cone, so as you're crunching the cone you're also eating the ice cream...*swoons* It's almost like paradise...
So after that I think I just did some stuff (hehe, stuff :P). I can't remember what I did, exactly; I probably just hung out.

Sunday-I pretty much just hung out on Sunday. I watched some television, wrote a little in my work...Oh, I remember looking up misheard lyrics...it is seriously one of the funniest things XD. Uh, I think I watched Teen Titans around 3-ooh, The Apprentice was on! :D One of my favorite episodes! Later, I think I started sewing...I went to bed sooo late, around 11...ugh, I hate how I can't remember what really happened! From now on, I'm going to log my weeks down on the day, so I can remember it better.

Monday-I got up sooo late (I believe it was around 8:30? SO glad I don't have to get up to go to school :P) and went down to eat breakfast later on. I messed up three problems on my test, so I went to get Mom to help me look over them.
Later on, we took a looong time cleaning up the kitchen-since the house we're moving to will be available by Friday, we're purging and cleaning through old stuff we don't need. It was long, but kind of fun-I like purging :).
Later on, we left for dance class.  It was the last class...recital is next Sunday already. During my class we practiced our dance, then showed it to another class that happened to be going on at the same time (we do that a lot). It wasn't really bad, but I kind of got stage fright, so I looked up at the wall as I was dancing :P Haha anyways, later I left and Mom went to get some Bojango's chicken (yum :D), then we came back to the studio because Manny and Imani (my sister) were in a class that only lasted for an hour. The one teacher I mentioned in my last post (Joey) he was leaving to another city for some job or something, so this was his last class here...I'll miss him, even though I wasn't in his class this year (we all only took two classes).
So later on, we cleaned up (after eating delicious Bojangos :D) and headed off to bed after a long-ish day.

Tuesday-I got up too late (around 8) because I had woken up in the middle of the night, and I couldn't sleep because I was thinking about the recital and moving! Anyway, once I did Mom said to start going through stuff in our bedrooms like we did on Monday, so I got rid of some clothes and other stuff in my room that was unnecessary to keep.
Sometime between this, I went and exercised (and started choreographing a lyrical/modern dance to "Somebody That I Used To Know"-I'm going to upload it on YouTube when it's finished and put it on Dance HQ :D). A little while after, I went to eat a PB+Jelly sandwich (it never gets old :D).
Okay, so around 2 I left to volunteer at the library. I know I need to stop, but sometimes I read books while I'm supposed to be stacking them :P. The inner bookworm in me can't resist! Haha, so later on I checked out this book on Greek Mythology-let me tell you, I am a little obsessed with Greek Mythology. It's SO fascinating-I even want to write a story about demigods! :D
Later on, Mom took Manny and Brad (my other brother) we dropped off to dance class, and I stayed to take care of Sage, the youngest. Let me tell you...she's very fun, but quite a handful! She was yelling and running out to the street when she saw Mom leaving, and it took her awhile to calm down...she starting swinging at me until she eventually calmed down and I gave her a cookie. Mom says she was like me when I was a baby O_O
Hehe, so later on I got online and started chatting with a friend (we don't know each other in real life, not that it matters). I also started writing this blogpost while listening to some Spotify. By the way, I think I already mentioned this, but Spotify is really good. It's FREE-unless you want to pay monthly to get rid of ads-which makes it really great. I like it better than Pandora because you can only listen to radio on Pandora-nothing against Pandora, of course. I like how it introduces me to new artists, plus it's more selective than regular radio.
Once the friend got offline I started chatting with another friend on Facebook (and using Facebook in general). I get on FB a lot-everyday, multiple times in a day :P. I wonder if it's too much? Except Facebook is kind of like news-I check it daily to see what's going on in people's lives and stuff.
OOH Momma got Chick-Fil-A for dinner! :D I LOVE LOVE LOVE Chick-Fil-A? Did I mention I loved Chick-Fil-A? ;) Haha, so afterwards I ate two M&M cookies for dessert :D

Wednesday-I got up earlier today (around 7) YES! Hehe, after eating and stuff, I started to do some last-minute study (I forgot to do it last night :P) for my unit test in math, then started working on it. But I started procrasinating again...there is just SO much more I'd rather be doing than math :P.
While I was doing math (or neglecting it..lol) Mom got the others who weren't working and started clearing out our storage. She found some extra boxes that she had forgotten were stored from our last move, so we're probably going to use them for this move.
Okay, so we started packing (I threw a bunch of my clothes into some boxes, plus some stuffed toys) and some of my other siblings started packing toys and stuff that we use. Sometime before/after that I finished my math (WHOOHOO), and then I went down around 11 to eat a PB+J sandwich :)
I started packing sometime then (or before-we were packing throughout most of the day) and around 2 I ate some tasty wings, fries (YUM!) and turkey burgers (they're like hamburger patties, but with turkey of course). I got on my computer for awhile, then Mom told me to pack some more stuff.
Later on I left for dance class-the last dance class...It was my modern class. So we did a relatively short warmup, some things across the floor, and then we practiced our dance a couple of times. Then I left.
I made some turkey burgers and fries (mmm!) for dinner. After cleaning up the kitchen, we cleaned upstairs up and I went to bed rather late (like at 10:30).

Thursday-I woke up around 7 or so (I stayed in bed :P), and after eating and stuff we got to packing immediately. We went into our school room (it has our desks, schoolwork, books, etc.) and started packing. Basically the day was spent with looots of packing...And later on we had packed even the food and blankets so I had to sleep without covers for awhile-then I snagged some from a box and threw it over my mattress! XD Hehe

Friday-I woke up around 6:30, but I stayed in bed until 8! XD Hehe, so afterwards I realized I was hungry, but we packed all the food…Soo Momma went to the store and brought some food for us. After eating the food, I started gathering bags and boxes, and later on I put it in the moving truck-a really big moving truck.
Once that was done, Daddy drove the moving truck, Momma took some of my siblings in the van, and I went with Manny in his car. We started driving to the new house (which I hadn't gotten a chance to see until then-hehe), and Momma and Daddy were trying to give Manny directions on where to go, but he sort of got confused and we kept having to turn around until we finally got on the right track…it was quiet fun, actually :P Hehe
Then we got into the house. Momma gave me a quick tour of it-it's nice :)-and then we started unloading the stuff. Since I couldn't do any heavy lifting and that was only left soon, I started unloading the stuff in the boxes.
After noon, we got some pizza for lunch! :D It was so good…afterwards we took a break because we were so stinking tired-at least I was XD. I didn't have internet yet, so I started writing my blogpost on my computer before publishing it to the web.
Ugh, there is just SO much to do...I honestly can't wait for this to be over :P

Okay, well that's my blogpost for the week. Tune in next week for *GASP* Dress rehearsal! Recital! And going into the new house! See you guys later!

Weekly Update

What's up, everyone?  I'm going to blog about my week again; I think the posts about what's happening in my life are the most interesting :)

Saturday was lazy, which was nice :)  We were planning to see Iron Man 3 that day, but Daddy had some stuff to do so we decided to push it until Sunday. I got to just hang out :D. I chatted with a friend on FB and some other friends online.
I also started writing one of my stories-not to get too far off topic, but I really like it :). It took me SUCH a long time to come up with a decent storyline (I came up with the idea last year), but I finally did. Anyway, it's about these mutants that are cross-species between humans and beasts (werebeasts). They include werewolves, werelions, weretigers...I don't want to brag, but I love the idea of them being mutants. They transform when they get anxious (anything that sends their adrenaline going), and the full moon/eclipse and other changes in the atmosphere affect them differently. I may post it on my "Fair Writings" blog...I hope you like it :D
Let's see...I don't think I watched any television that day (I missed Teen Titans-two episodes come on Boomerang from 3-4 on the weekends), but it was fine-I had plenty to do :). Eventually I spent WAY too much time on the screens (really bad habit of mine...), so I tried to do non-screen activities. I started coloring (don't stare at me like that! I still enjoy coloring :D). Makes me feel like a kid again :D
I also finished reading Mockingbird. It was really good. It's about this girl with Aspergers Syndrome who's brother died in a school shooting. The story's about her trying to understand how everyone is feeling and feel empathy-which is hard for someone with Autism. It's very interesting, and even though I don't have the condition, I felt as if the author really got into the protagonist's (Caitlin's) head. I'll review it on "My Reads" this week :D.

Sunday was reaally busy...Okay, I woke up at 4 not being able to go back asleep for quite some time, because that day I planned to see Iron Man 3. I eventually did, though, and around 10:30 we went to the theater. Because of the trailers, the film ended around 1. It was pretty good-not as good as the first or Avengers, but thoroughly enjoyable. And the action scenes were awesome-not to mention it had some humor. The villain was awesome-seriously, he had the creepily, deliciously evil thing going on ;). While not as the first Iron Man, it was better than #2 and I'd probably give it a 7 or 8 out of 10.
So anyways, we left the theater around 1 and ate at this Chinese restaurant ( it was near the theater). It was decent, considering I'm not one for Chinese food :p. Haha anyway, I got home around a quarter till 2, started doing chores and hanging out, watching the rainfall (it's so pretty<3)...just chilling on a weekend.
One of my brothers (Brad) just turned Teen Titans on Boomerang :). It's the Mad Mod episode-not my favorite but I like it :). I practically grew up with the show; I think I started watching it when it first aired (2003). Yeah, that's about right-I was 6 or 7 when I saw it :D. Ah, so many memories...
Also, I was writing this blog post now :). Hehe, I sometimes write mine a week or so earlier than I post it-that's just how I roll 8) (if the emoticons worked on here, that'd be a cool smilie with shades :D)
In the afternoon (around 5), I left to take pictures for my recital-I love my costumes! Modern's my favorite (I have these STUPID cute cameo pants...I am so wearing them after recital :D) and this pretty tap dress. But...I got to modern late because I forgot a piece of my costume. Then I found out that they took the pictures early (I guess enough people were there except for me), and they only let me take an individual...
I was dissapointeed at first, but then I was angry. They took the pictures earlier even though everyone (me) wasn't there, and they didn't even call me or my Mom to let us know this! And it's not just me they're doing it with-they did it with some of the other students as well. One parent my Mom talked to (because her daughter was wearing the modern outfit I had on) was fuming, because her daughter had missed one of her pictures (because they took them really early-apparently enough people were there). But the teacher called some people to let them know they were doing pictures early (like my brother Manny), but not everyone. I'm really sorry if I sound negative, but I was really mad. But the other parent said something about taking group pictures during dress rehearsal, which my Mom agreed to do. And luckily (since tap was right after modern) I got group pictures. Not to mention now Mom doesn't have to pay so much for costumes. So in the end everything worked out okay.
Around 8 or so I went to my Dad's gig (he's in a band), but we showed up late due to pictures, so there was only an hour left of his playing-which wasn't bad, though. I'm glad I got to wear a nice dress-it was so cute :). Hehe, At the end we said goodbye to Dad and Manny (since he has his license) drove us home-Demi Lovato's "Heart Attack" played on the radio, and I started singing along :). That song is VERY catchy.
Once I got home (around 10) I started to change into my pajamas, but I couldn't take my dress off! The zipper was stuck! :P I have bad luck with zippers-they just don't seem to like me! Haha, so Manny and my younger sister (Amber) tried to unzip it but couldn't, and I was so frustrated but they finally got it off! Well, most of it-I had to force the zipper off (I think I sorta broke it-but that zipper was EVIL!) So I went to finish some chores, then went to bed after a long, overall enjoyable day :). I like busy days,  because so much happens! Plus they make great blog posts (although this one's a little too long XD)

Monday-Back to school-AAAH! Lol jk, but I did do math once I ate breakfast. But it's the last week of math-then I'm FREE! Summer's coming early for me, baby! XD But I do plan to do schoolwork in the summer-just schoolwork I choose, like possibly a language (I want to become bilingual) and business course...but no math! HAHAHAHAHAHAA!
Well math didn't take that long :D-the lesson was REALLY easy, which is nice considering the stuff I had to go through three weeks ago! That math was hard! Okay, so when I was done, I started using the computer (I'm homeschooled) since I didn't have any other work to do :). I started writing in this blog post again (hehe ;D) and just sort of hung out...ah, freedom is the biggest joy in homeschooling :D.
I exercised around noon, and then I started hanging out and did some chores until around four-then I got dressed and ready for dance class. Around half-past four, we left for dance class-and, as I mentioned earlier-I waited for my class for an hour since my older siblings (Manny and Imani)'s class was only an hour before mine.
Around 5 (I keep giving you the times. Hey, that rhymes! XD) I left for tap class. I don't want to sound sour, but this tap seems less advanced than my previous years in tap (I think I mentioned this in another post). I also don't feel as if we're (the class) are as in-sync as I would like to be-I hope the dance looks good in the recital. Sometimes I got annoyed when the instructors kept telling me to keep my lines strait and stay with everyone, but now I realize just how important that is and have come to appreciate it :). I think my tap dance will look fine, though; it's certainly fun to do :). And I like to take a positive outlook on something.
As I left the classroom and waited for Manny (he was teacher's assistant for a class that went on during tap, along with another girl), some girls in my class (they're like, in middle school or 5th grade, I think. Not that it matters, lol...) they started singing the "Shark Song", which apparently is a song. It was kind of weird...and funny at the same time. Ah, I love how entertaining my classmates can be XD. And when I got home, I got the song stuck in my head...lol!
The house was kind of a mess, though, so there was lots of cleaning that need to be done (although I don'r believe much of it got done :P). Let me tell you this first hand-I am a neat freak. I don't want to sound vain, but my room is almost always clean-none of the stuff that was on the floors was mine. I guess I could have cleaned it up-if we're moving (and I'm pretty sure we are), we have to make sure things get clean...okay, I have NO idea why I told you this...it's not important! :P
So anyway, once that was all done and stuff, I used the computer-seriously, if it was my job to use the computer and learn more about the internet, I'd have truckloads of money XD-and pretty much continued the night on from thereon...

Tuesday-Did more schoolwork (very easy-for once I'm kicking math's butt! XD). For lunch, I ate some delicious chicken wings that was made by my Mom-she's a lovely cook :D.
Later that day (in the afternoon) I went to volunteer at the library. When I first went to sign in (every volunteer has to sign this sheet to log the hours and day they worked), I saw this jar full of life savers and a very nice poster above it saying it was a thank-you for the volunteers' work :). Sometime during my work, I got a couple of life savers-it said get one or two, so I got the maximum, as I always do with candy ;)- and just before Mom picked me up, I borrowed "Gathering Blue" from the library. Just in case you don't know, "Gathering Blue" (I think?) is a parallel novel to "The Giver". I liked the Giver very much, as it was very intriguing and thought-provoking, so I'd figure I'd read that novel, too.
But I also wanted to pick up "Charlie And The Chocolate Factory", and then I saw all these biographies on Albert Einstein, Alexander Grande Bell, William Shakespeare...there are just WAY too many books to read in so little time! Especially for a bookworm like me! Hehe, anyway, so Mom picked me up around 4:20, then I got home and started working on this blog post again...I hope I'm not repetitive by talking about it, but it's one of my favorite ones :D. I admit, it is incredibly long (since so much happened on Sunday), but I loved how so much stuff has happened! Either that or I'm paying more attention to it. Yeah, maybe that's it.

Wednesday-Woke up, started doing math-it's funny, the review was actually harder than learning the new lesson :P. But I guess it's because it's been awhile since I've done my work, so I need to refresh my mind. I'm so glad this is the last lesson, in case I haven't already made that known :)
So anyway, when I was done, I ate lunch and exercised around noon...I don't want to brag, but I can lift two 12 (24) tons of weights...;) lol, anyway, afterwards I used my laptop and went to clean up the kitchen, but then Grandmother came over...let me tell you, I have the best grandmothers in the world :). She's so fun to hang around :). She occasionally comes to our house once a week, so we see her regularly.
I went outside (because it was nice and Meemaw-that's what I call my grandmother-was outside), and we started talking. Okay, I don't want to pull out negative (or less than happy feelings), but...I'm probably leaving my dance studio next year. It's hard for me-I've been dancing there for almost 5 years now, it was the first place I ever danced at, and I enjoy my peers-but, I just...the thing that happened on picture day, that wasn't the first thing that had happened at the studio that ticked me off (I won't go into detail about it). So I think, after a couple of years of this going on, I'll look at another studio. I don't want to sound ungrateful-I've honestly had lots of fun at my studio. Lots of good memories, good friendships, good dance routines...I guess it's just time for me to move on, if that makes sense.
So anyway, we started talking (Meemaw and Momma and Manny and some of my other siblings), and then she had to leave (she ALWAYS leaves early-I hate that! :P) But she started talking to Momma before leaving, and me and Manny stood out the door to block her ;). Hehe, we said our goodbyes as she left, and then I went inside (after talking again-we had a LOT of downtime that day) and started to clean up.
Later on, around 5, I left for modern dance class. Now I know I mentioned some less than desirable things that happened at dance this week, but that day's class was pretty fun! At the beginning the teacher (who's also the owner of the studio) had a card she said we could sign for another teacher who taught jazz at the studio-I signed it ;). The teacher's name is Joey, and he is one of the funniest, craziest people I've ever met. Although I'm not in jazz now, the main reason I took his class was because of him. I always got a good laugh from him. :D
Later one, we practiced the dance a couple of times (I love it :D), and then we started doing improve. I won't go into detail-especially since all of you aren't dancers-but it was soooo fun :). I love modern :D But I was hungry while I was dancing! So I wasn't doing my best-I was tired :P. Anyway, after an hour I left as Momma picked me up.
When I got home, I started sorting the clothes...well, sort of...I started writing this blog post again...lol. Anyway, afterwards I went downstairs to eat dinner, ate an icecream sandwich for dessert (mmm...) and went to clean up. Later on, I started sorting the clothes (FINALLY got it done! Whew!) and then I saw ABC Family (via Facebook) post that The Princess Diaries was coming on at 8:30! I really enjoyed the film-I mean it wasn't the best but it was cute, and Anne Hathaway was great in it ;)-but I couldn't find the remote! Not to mention it wasn't clean upstairs :P
Okay, so afterwards I think I continued my day as usual...nothin' really special happened, I don't think. Not like Sunday (you see how LONG that post is? XD)

Thursday-Woke up around 8 (sooo late :P), and got dressed and ate breakfast. Later on, I did math, and soon after I was done ate lunch (Mom made some grilled chicken :D). Not that it matters, but I ate some hummus-I LOVE hummus! It's sooo good! Seriously, how can something so good be healthy? :D
Later on, I got on Facebook and discovered the cover for the last book in Divergent-Allegiant! (fan post coming up in 5, 4, 3, 2...) I don't understand why it shows water, but I guess I'll find out. Come on, Veronica, release the book now! I COMMAND YOU!!!
...okay, now that I've gotten that out of the way...I exercised and cleaned up the kitchen, then I went upstairs and hung out. Manny taught me some stage combat that he learned in jazz class, I think. It was really cool; the way you do it, it makes you look like you actually hit the person. Hehe, anyway, I started working on my post later on (again? XD) and then I listened to some music on Spotify.
Later on, I put some pizzas in the oven for dinner :D. Then I started reading "Gathering Blue". It doesn't seem as good as "The Giver", but so far it's pretty interesting. It's about this girl with a disability (one of her legs won't work I think, so she has to use a walking stick), but her society shuns anyone who's "imperfect". This is why I like dystopian novels...they make you think about society and compares it to ours today. It's lots of food-for-thought.
Any who, back to other things. I started playing with Sage-she's sooo cute! I don't know if I have a picture of her on here (I'm pretty sure I do), but she's so freaking adorable...I love her so much<3.
Sometime later (around 6) The Princess Diaries came on ABC Family! After cleaning up I watched some of it, then one of my younger siblings changed the channel. Later on, I think, I started chatting with some friends online, while simultaneously looking up some fanfictions. I have to say, there are some really good writers out there-and I love when a fanfiction gets the characters right. It's like reading/watching the story :)
Okay, I realize this post is probably boring and got into some personal details many of you won't care to know XD...but a blog is like a diary, so it's sort of valid? Haha, but I just realized how much this could bore you...sorry if I did...Thursdays aren't as interesting to write in my blog posts since I have no extracurricular activities that day. Not that it's boring-I love everyday! :D

Friday-FRIDAY! I ALWAYS LOVE YOU! Haha, anyway, after breakfast I did my math test and got around 90%-YES! Once I finish the unit test and final exam, I'M DONE! I'll be math-free for the entire summertime! :D Afterwards, I started writing some on this blog post...AGAIN...and later on (after some internet surfing) I read some more of "Gathering Blue."
Later on, I got on the computer again and started reading this reaaaallly good Star Wars fanfiction. Seriously, it was so good I had to force myself to stop reading it when I went to clean up! :) It's just...the writing, the characters...they're getting it all right. I swear, I think they could send the story to the writers-it's SO good.
Well, obviously I can't post more on my Friday post since I'm publishing it on a Friday (I've got to figure that out :P) but I'm sure nothing too special will happen.

And that's my EXTREMELY long recap of the week! :D SO MUCH happened on Sunday-which is probably what made it so long! You can skip through some things if you'd like-I'm sure there's some boring stuff in there, haha :P-but I really do enjoy logging what's happening in my life. Blogs are really like diaries...except it's a public diary, I guess.

Well, that's all for now. See you guys next week! (Oh, and I must thank my readers for giving me 880+ pageviews! I almost have 900! :D)

Busy, busy, week!

Well, technically the weekdays haven't been that busy...I'm almots done with school-I'll be finishing in the middle of May! :D I'm so excited! Haha, I won't see math again for a looong time!!! XD
Anyway, I think my parents have been doing more than me (obviously makes sense). Momma said it was a busy week, but I've kinda taken a break from math (I'm homeschooled) since I only have one lesson left! :) But we are in the midst of moving-we're trying to move Thursday :D. I'm excited-I haven't been in the new house but it looks cool :)

And speaking of excited...IRON MAN 3 IS OUT TODAY! I am actually a lot more excited than I thought I was! I know I shouldn't judge it based on reviews before watching it, but I looked at them anyway. One critic gave it a 3, but some (like Rotten Tomatoes) I think, gave it a 95%! A 95! And it currently stands at 7.9 on IMDB (almost 4/5 stars), which is pretty good! Ooh, I want to watch it SO bad...but I think I'll have to wait tomorrow :(. I know this may sound kinda selfish, but I wanted to be one of the first ones to review it! I'm a little competitive, yes? :)

Today I'm going to have to look for parts of my costume for my dance recital-which is coming up in a few weeks (so excited! :D) I'm in a tap and modern piece (only two dances), so I won't be in the show much :(. But I did it last year fine, so I'll be okay now, too! Oh, and not that it matters, but I love my costumes this year! My tap one is this colorful, fuchsia dress-it's so pretty! And then I have these stupid cute cameo pants in modern, plus this thing that goes over my shoulders that kinda look like sleeves...I wish I could show you guys :) Pictures are this week, too, so I'll have to make sure I get my stuff before Sunday...

Oh, and today is my good friend, Sarah Demens'-birthday! She turned 18 today :). She keeps saying how she doesn't want her childhood taken away ;). She's a cool person, you guys should check out her blog. Hehe, I'm doing a little advertising ;)

What else to talk about this week...oh, I know! The library! So I've already told some of you that I volunteer there twice a week, right? Okay, so this one time (was it last week? I think so) Momma had a fine (is that how you spell it?) for some overdo books, and when she went to pay the fine the person at the desk said she didn't have to, because all the work I've done had been enough hours to pay it off if I had been getting paid for my work...I feel honored. Hehe :). The more I go at the library, the more I love it. They just have SO much free stuff (my library even has some thing with listening to free music! If I could only figure out how to use it...) And of course the free books...I've saved up money instead of buying books I've wanted to read. Oh, how I love the library<3 On weekends I just want to go there to hang out

Speaking of books, I just returned "The Selection" this week. It was pretty engaging, but it wasn't the best book I had ever read. I don't want to turn this into a post all about it, though; I'm going to post my review for it next week on this site. But basically it's one of those books that's really fun, engaging, but doesn't have much depth to it. Or there's just something you can't put your finger on (maybe it's the writing style, maybe it's the way the story was presented) that doesn't make it 4-star worthy, yet you'd read it again for fun...if that makes any sense at all XD

Uh, I want to talk about more, but I'm running out of stuff! So I think I'll just end this post now. Bye for now!
