Long Time No See!

Hi, everyone! You probably thought I was dead, or at least the blog was. To be truthful, it was... the last post I made was over a year ago! It's taken me forever to figure out why I dropped off from blogging but I've finally come to a conclusion!

Truth be told, I ran out of ideas for this blog. It essentially became my online diary, which was fine, of course, but it didn't have a theme and I found it hard to keep the momentum up. While I haven't used my blog Freak Out Fridays as much either, I've used it more often than this one, and that's because it has a theme. And that makes it easier for me to churn out material.

Plus, I've considered blogging for money, and I doubt people would want to read about my random musings. No offense to me or anyone else who writes about their life, but people usually like to read blogs that help them in their lives, which is understandable. This, combined with my "blogger's strike" has led this blog to become inactive

But I have some exciting news! Aside from not shutting this down (who knows? I might post once a blue moon), I am reactivating my Freak Out Friday blog! It probably won't be once a week as I initially planned, at least until I can think of more material to post that regularly, but right now it's set to once a month. I'm hoping to get it to once every two weeks, but we'll see. I made a new post the other day, too, so check it out!

Secondly, I created my own website! I've considered upgrading when I have more disposable income (I'd love my own domain name), but until then I'm very pleased with what I have. This is more for my professional side of life (when I'm looking for jobs and such) and I'm really proud of my work. Check it out here!

Third, I will probably start a new blog for monetary value! I've seen the idea on Pinterest and how to go about it several times, so it is something I'll pursue in the near future. Once I do, I'll be sure to link it here in case anyone is reading.

That's it for now! If you want to keep up with me, check my social media - I use it more often than this. Otherwise, I hope everyone who's reading this has a wonderful summer (and awesome year!) Signing off,

Fairley
