September's Here!

And I'm kinda sad! More than half of the year is over now. Before I know it it'll be 2014, then 2015, 2016, 2017...yeah, I'm going ahead of time, but look how fast the year's going bye! I swear, I wish I could go back in time or freeze it...

But it's not all bad! My library's having a booksale near the end of the month! I am SO excited that I can hardly wait!!! The last book in "Divergent", "Allegiant", will be out in October or November, and Thor 2's coming out in November (pretty stoked for that)...Not to mention in 2014 THE DIVERGENT MOVIE WILL COME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, now that THAT's all out of the way, I'm going to review what I've been doing this week.

So Monday was Labor Day! You do not know how HAPPY I was to take off Monday! It was a three-day weekend, baby! YEAH!!! I kinda wasted it, yeah, but I was so glad I had no school :). I mean I'm not doing a whole lot, but still...if you had a choice of a little schoolwork vs. none, which would YOU choose?

I've been watching "Under The Dome", partly because they filmed in my hometown, but mostly because my Mom said it was good. It is pretty interesting, I will admit. And it's cool whenever I saw Aisha Hinds and Natalie Martinez on the show because my Mom MET THEM IN PERSON. Oh yeah, I'm cool ;)

Wow, I'm typing a lot in caps lock. Just a thought...

School wasn't TOO bad today. Writing a proof essay is pretty difficult, though. It's only five paragraphs, but there are certain things you have to include in each and it must stay on topic. So even though it's short, it has to be good. But I like being able to prove something in a story and using legit reasoning. I think I may just do that for other things (like movies I've watched).

Ooh, in history I'm doing a unit study for the Tudors. I just love English history, but what I loved even more was reading up about the Tudors. That family was MESSED. UP. Seriously, they could've had a reality television show if they were alive now...course, I doubt they'd let King Henry VII kill his wives on screen O_o

ANYWAY let's get to something less morbid...

I brought Ariana Grande's new album, and let me just say: WOW. No offense, but I didn't expect much from the girl on Victorious (although they have some great singers on that show). I'm not a huge R&B fan (becoming one), but I always liked "The Way" (the first single off the album). I just love her singing and her music She's got a bright future ahead of her. Good job, Ariana :)

I have serious writer's block now. Either that or I do not want to finish the story I'm currently writing. Sometimes, whenever I get past the good parts, I feel like skipping over the "boring" parts. But I think it's a little that and a mix of writer's block. Sometimes seeing others writing stories inspire me. And I want to publish more than three stories on Figment, so that'll get me writing :). In the meantime, I may just go back to my other stories or edit finished ones. That usually helps me get rid of the stupid block :P

Speaking of writing, my dear Sarah Demens had offered some of her friends to draw fan art for one of her stories. As a part-time artist I couldn't refuse, of course, so I made her some :). I was thinking of getting people to make me some fan art for my stories, though, because my artwork is okay. I mean, I wish it looked more realistic. But I'm sure none of you want to hear me complain about that, so let's move on...

I picked up a few books from the library went I went on Thursday. I just loved "Shiver" so much that I just had to get the second book in the series. I also picked up a book on geometry for whenever I get it (it should be here soon) and a book on King Henry's wives. Afterwards,  I went with Momma to the grocery store. She got me duct-tape (YAY!!!) and we got some desserts, namely chocolate. AND REESE'S. Yup, I love me some Reese's. That candy is pure heaven. Seriously, I posted a picture of it on Instagram and three or four of my friends liked it.

I finally finished the first book in the Chronicles of Narnia series after trudging myself through it. I had picked it up MONTHS ago but I never finished because it never engaged me. I just think it's a bit overrated (no offense to those who like it, of course). It just seemed bland and repetitive to me. But it wasn't HORRIBLE; I mean, I liked some parts of it. And if nothing else, it gives me another book to review on MyReads :)

Well, that turned out to be a long post, didn't it? I think that pretty much sums up my entire week. See you guys later!!!
