Sweet Sixteen!

So this week nothing too special has happened. I didn't go to my dance classes (they're having a spring break), so I had some extra time this week. My little sister, Sage, has defiantly hit the terrible twos after her birthday...she's been screaming loudly and throwing tantrums. But otherwise, I guess nothing really special has happened.

Except, of course...I JUST TURNED 16 BABY!

Me on my birthday :)

My birthday was on a Tuesday, so I didn't get too much free time-after finishing my schoolwork I went to volunteer at the library. But when that was over, I got to each some tasty frozen yogurt for my birthday! :D It tasted just like ice cream :D

Fro Yo!

When I got home, my mom made my favorite dinner-it's a mix of noodles and cheese, plus some ground turkey and broccoli :). It's kinda hard to explain, but it's basically mac-and-cheese with some extra stuff in it. And let me tell you-it was delicious :D. And when I was done with that, I ate some cupcakes for dessert-they were so good, but so big! If anyone's ever been to Cosco, let me tell you-stay away from those cupcakes! Not only are they DELICIOUS, but they are also humongous (twice the size of a normal cupcake-I ate half of one), so you have some leftovers! :D

Cupcakes...mmm...

I didn't do too much for my birthday, but it was special-like it always is. And I guess I didn't really have a "Sweet Sixteen" (no birthday party), but to me it was still great. My family and friends always make it great-I received some birthday wishes via Facebook and in person :). I don't need a big party to have fun on my birthday-I know it's always going to be a great day :)

So, that's it, I guess. Ciao, y'all!

Favorite Quotes

Recently I've decided to post quotes up once a week on my Facebook. I decided to share some of my favorites here, just to have something to do:

"All Life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better."
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

"A friend is a gift you give yourself."
-Robert Louis Stevenson

"Adventure is worthwhile in itself."
-Amelia Earhart

"Facing it, always facing it, that's the way to get through. Face it."
-Joseph Conrad

"Not all who wander are lost."
-J.R.R. Tolkien

This is still on topic (although it may not sound like it at first)-has anyone noticed that people say, "You know what they say"? I don't know who "they" are (I'm guessing it was someone anonymous who had first said it), but I thought it'd be cool to post up some of them:

"You know what they say..."

"...the more the merrier."
"...don't judge a book by its cover."
"...a dog is a man's best friend."
"...you are what you eat."
"...don't count your chickens before they hatch."
"...don't make mountains out of molehills."

And here are some movie quotes:

"I've been at the mercy of men just following orders. Never again."
-Magneto, X-Men: First Class

"I just keep wishing I could think of a way to show them that they don't own me. If I'm going to die, I wanna still be me."
-Peeta Mellark, The Hunger Games

(Here are some not-so-meaniful (but funny) quotes)

"Now you know that evil will always win, because good is dumb."
-Darth Helment, Space Balls

"YOU, ARE, A TOOOY! You're not the real Buzz Lightyear; you're an ACTION FIGURE! A child's PLAY-THINGY!"
-Woody, Toy Story

Well, that's all, I guess. Until next time, amigos! :D

New Seasons and New Shows

Hi, y'all! Today I'm going to talk about new television shows coming up and new seasons of shows :D

The new season of "Kickin' It" is coming in April...well, I didn't think I'd like a Disney XD show (I kind of resented it because it replaced Toon Disney...how mature of me ;P) but this show is pretty nice! It's about these kids who go to a martial arts studio. And I think they actually do their stunts-it's pretty cool :D The first episode of this season is called "Spyfall" (obvious parody of "Skyfall"), and of course it has some spy-ish stuff in it, which I love :D (Minor rant here). I just hope Kim and Jack don't act like they have no feelings for each other, after they went on a DATE in one of the episodes in season 2. Because Disney did that on one of their shows ;P

Well, as you Bronies and Pegasisters know, My Little Pony is on hiatus until season 4 :( I have NO idea when it's coming on, and I DO NOT want to wait for it :( Every Saturday I think, "No new episode of My Little Pony" :(. WHY DID IT ONLY HAE 13 EPISODES? WHY, WRITERS? WHYYYYY???? (Sorry, I'm getting a little crazy...) But what do you fans think or want to see in season 4 of My Little Pony? (Sorry for non-MLP watchers; I am OBSESSED with this series...)

Also, Switched At Birth has been put on hiatus...saddening :( The spring finale was good, but not as drama-filled as I had hoped it would be. The summer premiere will come, I hope, in a short amount of time. (Rant coming up, be forewarned...) And OMG-TY's coming back?!? I thought he was in the army?!?! Ty and Bay were okay, but I like Ebay so much better. Of course, Emmet should have NEVER cheated on her, but I feel that he really does love her and hope they will (eventually) get back together...they were such a cute couple<3 Team Ebay!

In other news, there are two new television series coming on ABC Family! One of them, called "The Fosters", is about a foster family. It looks as if it may be like Switched At Birth because of the main premise, but I hope they don't completely rip it off. The main reason this interested me was because Jake T. Austin (Wizards of Waverly Place) is in it :D. I may watch it, it looks sort of interesting..,

Also, there's another series coming up-called "Twisted". It almost looks like "Pretty Little Liars" or "The Lying Game", because a guy's accused of murder. The only person I recognized in this was that guy who played Beck in Victorious (wasn't his name Avan something?). It looks slightly disturbing, so I'm not sure if I'm going to watch it O_O

Well, that's it! Until next time, readers!

Top 4 Virtual Worlds

Yup, the title says it all :) I'm going to list the virtual worlds I (currently) use. I don't use them very often, but I do when I'm bored. Basically, I'm giving a list of fun virtual world's I've been on

1. Poptropica.com-This is a really fun website that I got on back in late 2009 (it came out in 2008). You create a character and have to complete quests on islands, and in return you are given a gold medallion :). When you're not completing an island, you can customize (mix-match outfits you see other people wearing), chat with others, compete in head-to-head games, and even make friends :) The site has really updated since I first got on, and they're adding so many new features in a short amount of time (there are currently 33 islands!) However, I don't like how you have to pay for a membership to get some cool things, but overall I like this site. My name is Red Heart, but you may not be able to find me. I would give you my username, but I don't want to give out personal information

2. Toontown.com-Toontown was really fun for awhile-it's like Looney Toons! You're a "toon" an animal, and you get to customize your character's look (what color you are, what animal, your clothes, etc.) You get to fight Cogs (evil business people) by throwing pie and squirting water at them XD, get a doodle, go fishing, and so much more! But I don't like how you have to be a member to get cool things :( I got a membership, and it was soo fun-but after awhile it had expired (I didn't want to pay every month), so I got bored :P  I can't remember my name :P

3. TyGirlz.com-This is a girly-girl website. Basically you shop, play games, chat...It's not too exciting, but still fun if I'm bored.  My Tygirlz name are Glitter, Princess Pearl, Gamegirl (I think?) and I can't remember the name of the last chick :P

4. Mcworld.happymeal.com-I rarely use McWorld, but it's kind of fun. It's free, but you have to have a code from a Happy Meal box to get some fun things. I don't even remember my characters name :P

Funny cliches

This may sound kind of cynical, but I just decided to list some cliches I've noticed in movies, television series, etc. I thought it'd be fun :D
With superheroes:
-Whenever a hero's captured by a villain, they always shout, "Let me go!", or "What do you want with me?" (the latter usually happens with a damsel-in-distress)
-The villain explains his evil plan (why would he even do that? I mean, does he want the hero to stop him? I guess he likes to brag about all the intricate work he went through to do it)
-Sometimes a villain says, "Join me!" to the hero, and they may/may not propose "You and I can rule the world!" or something to that extend
-The hero then shouts in response, "I'll never join you!"
On sitcoms (well, at least Disney Channel):
-Someone gives another person an unknown food. The person likes it (they may ask, "What is it?"), and then the person who gave it to them says, "It's [insert something really gross here]!" The person then proceeds to spit out the food (I always wonder why they do that when they liked it before they knew what was in it, but I guess it makes sense)
-Someone has some bad news, but it's hard to break the news to the person they want to tell them. They go to the person and proceed to tell them, but then the person says something really contradictory to what the other person was going to say (for instance, if a person was going to say, "I lost your bracelet", and then the other person says, "Man, if you lost my bracelet, I'd NEVER forgive you!") Then the person asks the other, "So, what were you going to say to me?" Of course, they don't tell them now.
-Someone has a dream that, ironically, includes their friends/family. When they wake up, they're surrounded by their friends/family. They say, "I had the strangest/weirdest dream!" Then they point to each individual and say, "And you were there!" to each of them.
Well, that's all I can think of. Do you guys have any other cliches? I'd love to hear them (I'm sorry, but this is too fun for me :D)
